The Marcali Industrial Park is situated 1,3 km south from Marcali, in the periphery of the town, on both sides of Road 68. Marcali is situated at about 180 kilometers southwards from Budapest, in the county Somogy, at 12 kilometers from the south-western corner of the Lake Balaton. Marcali is situated at about 27 kilometers from the Airport Sármellék, in accordance with the started developments Sármellék is the second biggest airport of Hungary, functioning also as customs gate around the clock. A considerable part of Marcali Industry Park (42 hectares) is bordering on the railway line Balatonkeresztúr – Somogyszob. The building of the connecting industrial railway tracks require, of course, development, the realization of this can be started within soon, due to the bioethanol project.

Electric energy:

The area is partly provided with 2 pcs transformers of 22/0,4 kV 630 kVA. Would the transformer-output standing at disposal not be sufficient, it could, of course, considerably be extended from the existing overhead cable of 22 kV! In case an electric energy over the capacity of the long distance transmission line of 22 kV would be necessary, the required capacity could be built up from the Substation of 120/20 kV of E.ON Dél-dunántúli Áramszolgáltató Zrt. Natural gas:

The city Marcali and its surrounding belong to the supplying area of E.ON Közép-dunántúli Gázszolgáltató Zrt. (E.ON Middle-Transdanubian Gas Supplying Closed Share Co.). Long distance transmission pipeline of natural gas of middle pressure is going parallel with the streets of topographical numbers :0407 and 0421/3 (Gesztenyés dűlő ). The building up of the required connection points can be started in the knowledge of the concrete projects, upon notice of the necessary output data requirement.
